Volunteer Plus was launched in May of 2017 by Godlove Lekule. Mr. Lekule is originally from Tanzania, and is now living in the United States. “All this came in my mind after these trips back and forth between Tanzania and the United States. One country with so much, and one with hardly enough to get by. And I call these places both my home. We are not living in this world forever, and I am not going to leave this world without leaving a positive impact”, quotes Mr. Lekule.
With its head office in Lincoln, Nebraska, the founder of Volunteer Plus was born and raised in Tanzania. This allows for an accurate picture of the support that volunteers will need while serving the needs of local communities and individuals.
Volunteer package costs are researched and calculated with the aim of making the experience affordable while ensuring that our volunteers have what they need to feel completely safe and taken care of.
We are dedicated to providing safe conditions during your time with us. While volunteering you will be staying at our lodging house along with other volunteers, with 24 hour security. There will be at least one member of the Volunteer Plus organization available to meet your needs at all times.
